Children suspected to have special needs and/or disabilities often need to be assessed and diagnosed before support services can be accessed. Assessment services as well as the most commonly prescribed therapies - Physiotherapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Therapy (ST) - are available both publicly and privately. In addition, certain support and welfare are available to families of children with special needs and disabilities in Hong Kong.
Alternative and complementary therapies and providers are not included in this website. You are encouraged to share your experience, ask questions and look for past discussion about them in our closed Facebook and/or Google Groups.
